PowerPoint is my best friend. I use it to create presentations that I can also reuse to enter data into Excel.The biggest advantage (vs. copying and pasting the information in Word) is that once you write it on the slide, you can make all the formatting changes before inserting into Excel. And when you paste, no more text selection and re-formatting in Excel; it will look very similar to the original screenshot from PowerPoint.

Recently I've been using Google sheets as a kind of database to keep track of groups which we  can join as a business entity and boost sales capacity. I put valuable data into a sheet which is useful to ziggy's business. This is a great way to use google sheets as a virtual assistant to help manage their client's business or for data entry.
